Sazan, the original carp, is a freshwater fish from the Cyprinidae family. Sazan is a valuable fish from the economic point of view. You can find this fish in rivers and lakes that have a rich vegetation and good water flow.

It has an elongated, slim body covered with scales.
The coloration is olive green, almost brown at the back. The sides are silver, and the belly is pale.
It has got four barbels around its mouth.
